Fall Track & Field Preparation Program
Success in track and field starts long before the first meet. This program is a critical foundation for any young athlete looking to excel in the sport.
Designed specifically for youth athletes, our training develops the four pillars of athletic performance: speed, strength, endurance, and explosive power. These elements aren’t optional—they’re required to compete confidently, stay injury-free, and thrive in the high-demand environment of track and field.
Whether your athlete is new to the sport or preparing for their best season yet, this program builds the physical readiness they need to perform at their highest level.
Program Includes:
- Speed Training
- Plyometric training
- Body weight strength & conditioning
- Balance, Coordination and Stability
- Resistance training
Training Dates: August 10th – October 10th 2026
Location: Ignite Athletes, 263 N York Rd Elmhurst 60126, Basement
High School Training Schedule (9th-12th Grade):
Days: Monday – Thursday & Saturday
Time: 5:15PM and 11am (Saturday)

Middle School Athletic Development Program (6th – 8th Grade)
Middle School 6th-8th grade training will be run through Ignite Athletics’ youth Athletic Development Program
Days: Monday – Thursday 4pm or 6pm and Saturdays 10am
Middle School Athletes can come to either of those two classes as many time as they prefer or that fit into the schedule. Below is the punchcard for the fall training which will allow access to those classes.
INDOOR TRACK SEASON
Little Speedsters (1st-4th Grade)
This program introduces the fundamentals of track and field to young athletes. It is absolutely important for a young athlete to develop a union with their bodies early so they begin to build confidence in their skill. A fun and encouraging environment allows athletes to confidently learn speed/running technique, full body awareness, develop hand-eye coordination, and naturally build strength.
Junior Varsity Speedster (5th-8th Grade)
This program focuses on various drills and training methods that are essential to track and field; speed training, strength training, endurance, and explosive power. It is essential in this phase of development athletes learn the proper ways to run fast and jump high/far. Along with advancement in development, athletes will also learn new methods of flexibility and multiple ways to prevent sport injury. As athletes are developing, they will also learn drills and exercises that challenge their critical thinking and mental clarity.
Varsity Speedster (9th-12th Grade)
This program is built to develop the speed, power, strength, and technical efficiency required to excel across multiple track and field events. Athletes receive elite-level coaching rooted in biomechanics and proven movement principles to maximize force production, sprint mechanics, and overall athletic performance.
Training focuses on building high-performance motor patterns, explosive ability, and event-specific execution so athletes can compete faster, stronger, and more efficiently at the highest level.

November Dates: 2nd, 4th, 5th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 23rd, 24th
December Dates: 1st, 3rd, 7th, 8th, 14th, 16th 17th
